Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers Warranties Our Repairs
Van Zeeland’s uses quality parts and trained technicians who professionally complete all repairs. We strive to repair your vehicle correctly, with a quality long-term repair. However If a challenge arises, you can be assured we’ve got your back!
Limited Lifetime Warranty
At Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers, we stand behind the quality of our work. All parts and labor we provide are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, meaning they are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the expected lifetime of the part. If a covered part fails, we’ll repair or replace it—at no cost to you.
The lifetime of a part does not mean the lifetime of your vehicle. Each part has an expected service life based on typical use and wear. For example, rubber components are generally expected to last about 7 years or 105,000 miles, while rotating parts typically last around 6 years or 90,000 miles. Parts designed to gradually wear down, such as brake pads and rotors, are covered only for defects in material or workmanship. Batteries are covered for 5 years or 75,000 miles, and ball joints or pivot points are expected to last about 7 years or 105,000 miles. These guidelines help define what “lifetime” means for each category of part, ensuring your coverage is clear and fair.
What’s Required to Keep Your Warranty Active
To ensure your warranty remains in effect, our customers must:
- Schedule Inspections: Bring your vehicle to Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers every 6 months or every 5,000 miles (whichever comes first) for a quick, free warranty inspection.
- Stay on Top of Maintenance: Keep up with regular maintenance, including wheel balancing, alignment, suspension, steering, brake service and fluid exchanges.
- Replace Fluids as Needed: Replace engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and differential fluid according to our recommended service intervals.

At Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers, your alignment is backed for up to 6 months or 5,000 miles (whichever comes first). If your vehicle’s alignment falls outside of the manufacturer’s specifications—or if your tires experience uneven wear—during that time, we’ll perform a repeat alignment service at no additional cost.
Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to vehicles that:
- Are used for racing or competitive driving
- Have altered or modified suspensions
- Show signs of mechanical defects, damage, or abuse
- Receive suspension work performed elsewhere during the warranty period
Battery Warranty
All batteries purchased from Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers are backed by a 5‑year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty protects you against defects in material or workmanship for the full coverage period.
At the time of purchase, you’ll receive a battery warranty card. This card should be filled out and kept with your vehicle—ideally in the glove box—so it’s always available if warranty service is needed.
If your battery experiences an issue within the 5‑year coverage, simply bring your vehicle and the warranty card to any Van Zeeland’s location, and we will assist you with testing, repair, or replacement as outlined by the warranty.
Tire Warranties
Limited Tire Warranty
At Van Zeeland’s Auto Care, all house brand tires (Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal and TOYO) we sell are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Most tire manufacturers cover defects in materials or workmanship for up to 6 years. If a tire fails under the manufacturer’s guidelines, it will be replaced on a pro rata basis—meaning the cost is adjusted based on the remaining usable tread (down to 2/32″).
Not Covered:
Wear from normal use, road hazards, under‑ or over‑inflation, misalignment, abuse, accident damage, vandalism, run‑flat use, or punctures.
Limited Tire Mileage Warranty
At Van Zeeland’s, most of our house brand tires include a mileage warranty from the manufacturer. This guarantees tread life up to the mileage listed when purchased. If a tire wears out before reaching that mileage (with tread worn to 2/32″), we’ll provide a credit toward a new tire based on the percentage of unused mileage.
Conditions:
- Tires must be originally purchased, mounted, and balanced at Van Zeeland’s Auto Care Centers.
- Customer is responsible for labor, mounting, and balancing on replacement tires.
Exclusions:
Premature wear caused by improper inflation, wheel misalignment, defective suspension parts, lack of tire rotation, road hazards (e.g., nails, impacts), racing, commercial use, or damaged/mis‑mounted tires. Weather cracking on tires older than 5 years is also not covered.
Road Hazard Protection
If purchased, our Road Hazard Protection covers damage from unexpected hazards such as nails, potholes, or impact.
Coverage Period:
- Begins on purchase date (must be purchased with the tire or within 30 days).
- Lasts for 3 years or until tread reaches 3/32″, whichever comes first.
What’s Covered:
- Repairs: Free, if the tire can be safely fixed.
- Replacement: If not repairable, we’ll replace it with the same or comparable tire (up to the original purchase price, excluding labor).
Exclusions:
Damage from tire sealants, misuse (racing, off‑road, or commercial use), or nonstandard applications.
